Numerous Entertainment Venues Open Downtown

Located adjacent to the popular Fremont Street Experience, the Fremont East District is a group of eclectic bars, clubs and cafes in downtown Las Vegas. Newly opened is The Beat Coffeehouse, housed along with artists' boutiques and the Burlesque Hall of Fame at a new operation called the Emergency Arts Center, located at 520 Fremont St.  

A number of additional nightclubs are slated to join the lineup this year or in early 2011: Maharaja Hookah Cafe at 506 Fremont Street,  VanGuard Lounge at 516 Fremont St., Azul Tequila at 115 N. Seventh St. and 601 Fremont St. at the southeast corner of Fremont & Sixth streets.

Business Development Center

The Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency and the Urban Chamber of Commerce are working together to create a business development center that will aid with the growth of area small businesses. The facility will officially be named the Urban Chamber of Commerce Business Development Center sponsored by the city of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency.
